
Pat Shannon, CHBME, President/CEO.
Mr. Shannon combines a strong business background with
extensive technical billing knowledge and programming experience.
Mr Shannon is a Certified Healthcare Billing & Management
Executive and involved in healthcare legislation on a national
level. Given the highly complex technical aspects of reimbursement,
his talents and knowledge have served the industry and this
company well. Retired USAF and a State
Senate Candidate.
Pat McCoy, Chief
Operations Officer. Mr. McCoy brought 20-plus
years of experience in logistics, as well as several years working
in auditing and management functions when he came to this company.
This experience is used on a daily basis as he oversees the
operations of all billing divisions. Mr. McCoy is constantly
researching trade papers/web sites to discover potential improvement
opportunities as well as identify changes in policies. His primary
goal is to continually streamline and improve processes, ensure
compliance and reduce client DSO averages.
Shannon Smith, Ambulance
Billing Manager. Shannon handles a staff of billing agents
who specialize in ambulance and rescue squad billing. Shannon
is a graduate of St. Mary's College Billing Certification Program.
CBS currently provides rescue squad billing for several major
mid-western cities and municipal rescue squads.
Rich Novak, A/R Manager. Rich brings
his years of experience as a firefighter and his management
experience from his career in the Air Force to a challenging
job. He is in charge of the small rescue squad division and
tracks the patient collection process. Rich serves as our Compliance
Officer and community trainer.
Deb Martinez, CPC, Coding Manager. Deb
brings with her years of medical coding experience to CBS. Recently
named "2003 Networker of the Year" by her national
Association and a former AAPC Chapter President in Omaha. Deb
adds a layer of confidence to our coding and billing processes.
Sandy Krim, DME Billing
Manager. Sandy came to our company with years of supervisory
experience, as well as an educational background in banking
and finance. Responsible for managing DSO rates of our clients
and managing the electronic billing process. She has improved
the accuracy rate of claim submissions and more importantly,
reduce the average Account Receivables for her clients.
Trisha Davidson, Administrative
Manager. Trisha has a bachelor of science degree in Business
Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. She manages the
sales & marketing process and helps new clients with the
transition to our company. She is in charge of marketing materials
and advertising for each division within CBS as well as coordinating
trade shows for the company.
Michelle Lopez, Accounts Manager. Michelle
comes to CBS with Medical Practice Management experience as
an Office Manager. She monitor productivity on all client accounts.
Mrs. Lopez handles all aspects of employee benefits and plans
company activities to improve employee morale. She is also in
charge of all company EDI functions and training.
