CBS’s full service billing includes the following services: once a claim
is received at our central billing office, we review the claim
for completeness and accuracy, file the claim, (electronically
if applicable), process the explanation of benefits (eob), post
payments, provide patient and insurance follow-up and generate
reports detailing account activity.
We also offer our remote terminal billing service that provides
all of the same services as full service billing, except charges
are entered by a clinic staff person into a terminal provided
by CBS at the clients office. This service affords the client
some cost savings because the clinic handles all of the data entry.
